Last night Annalise said her own name for the first time! Amidst all her chatter about doggies (her favorite thing to talk about) and bubbles (her favorite thing to ask for) our sweet girl learned her name! She has long understood what her name was- she points to herself when you say it- but she couldn't actually say it. Then last night, like I do every day, I asked her if she could say 'Annalise'. She pointed to her chest and with her tongue tangling around in her mouth, proudly exclaimed, "Leash-Leash!"
