Annalise has been practicing her standing and walking along things for a while now. Just this week though, she began forgetting to hold onto something while she was standing, and instead of falling, we all realized she could stand by herself! It's very sweet and lasts no more than 15 seconds at a time. I scored a cool activity table for $5 off Craigslist for her, and she stands against it and plays with it nearly all day long.
Tonight I looked in her mouth while she sat on my lap and threw her head back, and found that her top right front tooth has popped through! This is with no extra whining, sadness, apparent discomfort, biting, drooling, fever, etc. Thank heavens for that. Such a big little girl!
