Karina had her first taste of solid food yesterday. (That is, if you don't count the countless times Annalise has gagged her by shoving her own snacks into her mouth.)
We went with Sweet Potatoes.
They were a big hit. Karina wasn't so sure what to DO with the food, but she sure knew she wanted it. She lunged at it excitedly and wanted it stuffed in her mouth. Now. Over and over. Luckily, she had a very willing older sister.
I thought it all got drooled out, but when she spit up after a few minutes of being in the bumbo (she and Annalise both didn't respond well to the squashed-in-half position the bumbo put them in) it was clear she had swallowed some. Nice work, new little eater!
